It is so hard to believe that we are already in the month of June! The Summer weather is finally upon us here in wine country and the Napa wineries are greeting more and more guests visiting the valley. June is not only the official start of Summer, but hosts another important holiday, Father’s Day – a day to honor and celebrate all the fathers in our lives, from uncles to grandfathers, to stepfathers, brothers, and more!
We believe that a day celebrating dad in wine country is a great option and why not include one of our Napa wine tours.  With our Napa wine tours changing each day, it will always be a new adventure and especially on Father’s Day. Wine country may not be the first idea that pops into mind of where to celebrate dad, but there are a lot of wineries hosting events to make dad feel extra special on this day.
What’s more exciting than an ATV tour through the vineyards of the beautiful Hess Collection winery in Napa? This unique and fun adventure is then followed by a wine and small food bite pairing on the property. Definitely call ahead to make your reservation for this special tour.
This next Father’s Day event is not at a winery, but at one of the most popular places in Napa for a lot of dads, the Chardonnay Golf Club. There will be a hosted BBQ on their patio restaurant with a delicious spread of great traditional BBQ food! This event will take place from 11:00am-4:00pm on Sunday. Pair this experience with Napa wine tours on Saturday and treat dad to a special full weekend!
If you are looking for a more hands on experience for the whole family, head over to the Culinary Institute of America at COPIA in downtown Napa. They will be having a “Dinner for Dad” where everyone will learn how to make potato chips and that perfect burger, just in time for summer.
If dad loves live music, then look no further than one of our favorite Napa wineries, Cliff Lede Winery in Yountville. This music inspired winery is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect place to celebrate Father’s Day. On Sunday they will be having live music, complimentary light bites, and of course plenty of delicious wine!
With Father’s Day less than two weeks away, we hope that one of these recommendations helps your planning process. There are more events happening at Napa wineries and throughout the rest of the valley, from brewery visits to Napa wine tours. Dad will be sure to enjoy any of these great options for his special day.
