North Sonoma County wineries are among some of the finest in California and are located in one of the premier grape growing regions of the world – the Chalk Hill Valley, Dry Creek Valley and the Alexander Valley. Famous in particular for outstanding Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, North Sonoma County wineries are also known for fine Merlot and Zinfandel wines. While there are many large, well-known wineries in the region, we focus on smaller, more intimate wineries offering delicious, unique wines in order to provide a special experience for our guests.

The Nachbauer’s founded their hidden gem of a winery in 1990 which is located at the Northern end of the Russian River. This quaint winery sits in the cool Russian River Valley climate making it the perfect place to accommodate over 60 planted varieties of Italian and French grapes. With a production of under 3000 cases annually, Acorn is known for their field blend red wines which are inter-planted, harvested, and fermented together creating balanced food-friendly wines. The owners host you personally which creates a relaxed down-to-earth feel without crowds. A tasting and vineyard walk will educate you on their Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, and Syrah blocks of grapes which are blended the day they are picked. Adrian Fog was born from the idea that Pinot Noir should have a sense of place and that the vineyard is the birthplace of great wine. All of their vineyards are selected for their individuality. By hand selecting cool climate fruit from small vineyards, Adrian Fog is able to maintain the unique signature and personality of the vineyard. While Armida makes seriously great wine, they are not afraid to have a good time. With that said – they produce PoiZin "The wine to die for" a zinfandel you'll never forget. Please come by and try their incomparable wines while enjoying the expansive view of the Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. Bella is a small, family run winery dedicated to handcrafting small lots of zinfandel. They focus on their own century old vineyards as well as those tended by other small, passionate growers who are extremely dedicated to the heritage and quality of these vines planted so many generations ago. Darms Lane is a family owned and operated boutique vineyard in Napa Valley. We are committed to delivering quality wines from our family to yours. Our estate grown wines hail from our vineyard located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. We also make a wine that is sourced fruit from the Dutton Ranch in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. A new and improved tasting room features an elegant yet distinctly Sonoma country feel. The estate vineyards are in transition to being biodynamically farmed, tailored specifically for Pinot Noir - Chardonnay and Zinfandel. You'll find a visit here is a relaxed day of wine tasting among friends. Guests are encouraged to picnic in the beautiful lawn area adjacent to the vineyards. At DRNK, they highlight Sonoma County's agricultural richness and encourage visitors to explore the possibilities of people, place, and Pinot. Their small-batch wines are sourced from various vineyards throughout Sonoma County, offering a diverse tasting experience. Dry Creek Vineyard is one of the few remaining family-owned wineries in California. With more than 45 years of grape growing and winemaking experience, our efforts continue to focus on the quality of wine in the bottle. When founder David Stare started Dry Creek Vineyard, he began the winery with a single-minded effort to offer the highest quality wine possible at a reasonable price. Dave realized that the success of the winery hinged upon providing that “something special” in the bottle to keep customers coming back for more. Today, the second generation continues to build upon those early-established values. Dave’s daughter and president of the winery, Kim Stare Wallace, is wholly committed to the quality of wine produced at Dry Creek Vineyard. The goal remains the same: to produce high quality wines while being mindful of the original vision of the winery. Since 1985, Ferrari-Carano has been a leading producer of world class, nationally acclaimed wines including full bodied Chardonnay and rich classic reds. Seeking outstanding terroir, the owners relocated from France to California with their children for three years. They found the ideal environment for Bordeaux grape varieties to thrive in the sunny Californian microclimate. The "Acaibo" project, spearheaded by Gonzague and Claire, aims to create exceptional Californian terroir wine. This involves mastering the unique components of the terroir, including the soil's volcanic origin, comprised of clay loam atop compacted ashes, reminiscent of Mount St. Helena. Harvest Moon was founded on growing, producing and bottling world-class Russian River wines across the varietal board that exhibit fresh, juicy vineyard-focused flavors which burst on the palate and possess long, lingering finishes. J. Rickards Vineyards and Winery, run by the Rickards family, handles both grape farming and wine production. Situated in the northern part of Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, the vineyards have been expanding for over 40 years, alongside the original 1908 Zinfandel vines. The winery emerged in 2005, spurred by friends who appreciated their small batches of handcrafted wine dating back to 1991. Established in 1972, Jordan Vineyard & Winery was inspired by the great wine estates of France and created as an homage to the timeless connection between food, wine and hospitality. A relentless commitment to this tenet helped make Jordan one of the top Cabernet Sauvignon brands in California. Korbel Champagne Cellars is a winery based in Guerneville, California. Since 1882, Korbel has primarily manufactured California champagne using the méthode champenoise process. In this process, champagne is fermented inside the same bottle from which it is served. Mill Creek Vineyards, deeply embedded in Dry Creek Valley, was established by the Kreck family in 1965, making it one of the earliest wineries in this celebrated Sonoma County area. Still family-owned and operated, they oversee everything from vineyards to winemaking, crafting award-winning wines at their Healdsburg, CA estate. The Kreck family will mark their 50th commercial wine vintage milestone in 2024. Notre Vue Estate & Winery is a stunning 710-acre property located just south of Healdsburg, bordering the town of Windsor. They're proud to be a certified Sustainable Vineyard and Winery, crafting top-quality wines from their estate vineyards, which sit across two renowned viticultural appellations: Russian River Valley and Chalk Hill in Sonoma County. Opened in May of 1994, the Paradise Ridge estate is a haven where guests bring their friends to savor vineyard-designated wines and take in sweeping wine country views. Their estate tasting room and events building, as well as their wine making building were destroyed in the fires of 2017. Luckily their vineyards and art survived and became a source of comfort to the community. Rebuilt and opened in the fall of 2019, the tasting room and events building are again a stunning setting to enjoy estate wines. The Rued Family has been farming and growing grapes in Sonoma County since 1882. Now, they've embarked on a new journey of winemaking. Visitors are invited to meet the family and sample their wines, conveniently located just northwest of the historic Dry Creek Store. Experience a tasting at the bar or enjoy a picnic on the patio, boasting stunning views of Dry Creek Valley. After years of neglect, this local landmark had fallen into serious disrepair. Recognizing the property’s historic value Ken and Diane Wilson purchased the Soda Rock property in 2000. Today you see a decade of a carefully planned restoration using recycled and green materials whenever possible. Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is the story of a family’s vision to defy the limits of California winegrowing. Jess Stonestreet Jackson and Barbara Banke established the estate in 1995, and their son Christopher Jackson and his wife Ariel continue the legacy — and the middle name “Stonestreet” has now been passed from father to son for three generations. Stonestreet is one of the most expansive and multi-faceted mountain vineyards in the world and produces a distinctive collection of single vineyard wines — powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, soulful Chardonnay and electric Sauvignon Blanc. Stuhmuller Vineyards are a small, family-owned winery located in Alexander Valley, near Healdsburg in Sonoma County, California. Their focus is on crafting terroir-driven, sustainably made wines that reflect the essence of their location and the moment. With nearly 40 years of grape-growing experience in Alexander Valley, their winemaking legacy at West Soda Rock Lane spans 25 years.
