"We loved our wine tour with Platypus! The only downside was that we didn't know how great the tour would be so we didn't book more than one! The wineries we visited were varied and interesting. The scenery was spectacular. Our guide, Greta, was lovely and she made sure that everyone had a wonderful time. The lunch outside at a winery was perfect and we enjoyed sharing a meal with the new friends we made on the tour. We were a varied group, but all had a great time together sharing wine and stories. We'll be sure to take another Platypus tour on our next trip to Napa and Sonoma! Thanks again!"

"We really enjoyed our tour with Scott W. We were with another couple from Canada and enjoyed getting to know them too. We appreciated having a small group. The weather, wine and picnic were all wonderful and it was so relaxing traveling around the vineyards in the shuttle bus. The ferry ride over from San Francisco was another bonus."

"Rod made a good tour into a GREAT EXPERIENCE. He was knowledgeable, gracious, and fun to be with. He treated us as part of his extended family and we all were made to feel special and at home. "Army Moreno was our guide and did a great job. Took us to some wonderful wineries. In particular, the Helena View winery with Charlie Johnston was excellent. I would highly recommend it."

"We had an amazing time on our platypus wine tour. Greta picked us up on time and drove us around all day. We liked being able to go to small family wineries that we otherwise would not have visited. We enjoyed a picnic lunch that Greta prepared for us at Hill Winery under the olive trees. We enjoyed the wineries and the people on our tour. This is an excellent way to see Napa."

"Our tour was everything we hoped it would be. Greta was able to fit in all the wineries we wished to visit along with a couple of others. Overall the day was pleasant, the guide professional and personable, the wine was superb and the lunch delicious. I'd use Platypus again the next time we travel to California."

"Angie was great! She handled the group well, and was in tune to discomfort felt by our daughter by another passenger who was relentless in his questions about her relationship with her boyfriend. I feel Angie did try to quiet him down, and in the end she did discount my daughter's tour, which was very nice of her. The wineries we visited were especially interesting!"

"We had a fabulous tour of Napa with Greg as our guide. He selected a nice variety of both big and small wineries so by the end of the tour I felt like I experienced Napa to the fullest. Every winery had a unique philosophy and the wines at each of them were fabulous. Greg was informative, funny, and punctual. The lunch provided was delicious. I have already recommended Platypus to my friends and encouraged them to book a tour on their visit."

"I planned this trip for a group of 8 and was hoping it would be perfect. It absolutely was! Peter was a fantastic tour guide and introduced us to the Tudal Winery, where we had a lovely lunch. What a gem that place is! The service, transportation, relaxed environment were all outstanding and everyone in the group raved for the rest of the trip about how great our tour experience had been. "Wow! We spent two days with Greg and they were two of the best vacation days I've ever had. He took our group of six to all the wineries we requested, found great lunch options, surprised us with a full day of wineries we had never heard of but loved, and generally made our trip to napa a fabulous experience. "Ken was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. It was my friend Maddie's birthday and he truly made it special. When we were at Loxton winery, he brought out a special birthday treat for her, which was very nice & sweet. Loxton was the perfect setting where we had our delicious lunch, opened up a bottle of wine, and just enjoyed the beautiful setting and weather. And to top it off we went to six wineries and not four. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time! I can't wait to come back and do another tour, and my friends had an amazing time too!"

"This was the second time that we use Platypus tours, the first time was in 2011. The driver was friendly and very knowledgeable about wines and the wineries. We had such a good time, we decided to use them again. This driver was also knowledgeable and funny. We joked around trying to make the other guests feel more at ease. The bus seats ten guests, so it is more intimate than the bigger buses.After a couple of tastings, everyone loosens up and gets to know each other. We like the fact that Platypus supports the smaller wineries instead of the big crowded ones.We will definitely use Platypus again next time when we go to the Napa area.The gourmet cheese and crackers on the bus is a nice touch. They also serve a picnic lunch at one of the wineries."

"Thank you to Phil B. and all the team at Platypus. Our private tour began with a timely pick up in San Francisco. At once we through our guide Phil a curve ball which he handled with pure confidence and class. After adjusting our schedule we were taken past all the Disney like tourist traps and arrived at a secluded private tasting platypus arranged for us. Unparalleled views and boutique wines followed us through out the day. The van we used was more than comfortable and well kept. The driving was exceptionally courteous and professional. Your team made our day, I can't thank you enough. Cheers!"

"We toured with Platypus on our 23rd wedding anniversary and had a really wonderful time! Sandi, our guide, was very down-to-earth and easy going. She selected the perfect mix of small to moderate sized wineries for our visit. Each had unique features and all had great wine. Our lunch was really nice, too!
