We toured the wine country with Jack on our vacation to Napa. Our tour was the highlight of the trip! Jack was so friendly and knowledgable. He had a great personality and even fixed us a wonderful picnic lunch. I would highly recommend Platypus tours to anyone that is considering take a tour in the valley.

This was our first experience in wine tasting in Napa Valley. Scott was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable in wine business, very helpful, and just a nice guy to be with. He made very good selections regarding the wineries we visited. My wife and I will recommend him and Platypus Tours to our friends.

I have lived in Modesto since 1960 and had never been to Napa until 4/23/08. Thanks to your tour and our wonderful guide it was PERFECT !!!! She was full of fun and great information. The wineries were perfect as was the wine (we bought plenty of that). Everyone on the tour was just the right mix of people to have fun and relax with. Any more visitors that come my way I will bring to you and to Napa for sure. Thanks again!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Rod! It was a memorable experience and a great way to start our first trip to Napa. We ended up going to other vinyards Rod recommended the next day. We even became wine club members at Casa Nuestra. We will recommend Platypus to others! Cheers!

Scott was a fantastic tour guide! He drove us through the entire valley from south to north to south again as we ran the gammut of wine tasting experiences...from larger wineries to a small 200 barrel winery to a tasting room. We had a fantastic day! This is THE WAY to taste Napa Valley. Thanks!

This is our third time on the tour. Each time we have been on the tour, the guide has been very kind and very smart! I had a great time at each of the tasting rooms and the opportunity to do a barrel tasting was out of this world! We will be on the tour again! Thank you!!!

We had such a wonderful time! Dave was a blast and so was everyone in our group. He made would could have been a pretentious atmosphere into a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone there. The wineries were awesome, we wouldn't have found them on our own and we were glad we got to enjoy this day. We would defiantly recommend you guys to anyone looking to have a fun, informative, laid-back wine tour!

Ken was a wonderful tour guide. He was warm, fun and genuinely cared about our experience. We went to four tastings and he prepared a fabulous lunch at the third one. We can't say enough about him. Thank you for a wonderful day!

What a fabulous day! I thought I would be stuck at the race track while my husband took a driving class. Most tours charge by the vehicle instead of by the person, which isn't fun if you are solo. This inexpensive tour far exceeded my expectations. Dave, the tour guide, is very knowledgable, personable and fun. He provided us with a wonderful assortment of cheese and crackers on the bus and a beautiful picnic outside at a very picturesque winery. He even pulled a few strings to get us into the most specactular wine caves around. I feel fortunate to have shared the experience with such an enjoyable group of people. Oh, and did I mention that the sun was shining, making it a totally perfect day! Thank you David, I'll be back.

I took the tour with a girlfriend last week and we enjoyed every moment of it! Scott was an awesome tour guide, rolling with our senses of humor and taking us to some amazing wineries! Our group was having such a good time that he even extended our tour to include a fifth winery that we'd requested. One couple on our tour chose to return next week because they would still be in town! We'll be making this an annual trip, and you can bet that Platypus Tours will be on our itinerary every year... I've been busy since returning from my trip to Napa, so haven't had a chance to send this. On 4/5 I used your service, and it was a very positive experience. The food was quality, the wineries we visited were great, the information was ample without being condescending. All around great day, my girlfriend and I had a good time! My wife and I were on your tour and absolutely had a fantastic time. The driver, Scott Goldsmith, was tremendous. He picked us up promptly and took us to 4 wonderful wineries where we tasted wine in a relaxed atmosphere. He accommodated our dietary restrictions and at the end of the day he took us to a shipping store so we could send our wine home safely. He also took us to the UPS store to accommodate another guest who wasn't able to ship their wine from the first store. Overall, a great tour that we would highly recommend.

My boyfriend Luke and I took the Platypus tour while in Napa. Jack was our tour guide, and provided us with a wealth of information of the area, not to mention very warm hospitality. He took us to 5 great wineries where we received red carpet treatment. It was the highlight of our time in Napa!

GREAT COMPANY! My husband and I had a wonderful day. Definitely take this tour! Val (our tour guide) was fun, outgoing and very knowledgeable. Lunch, snacks and wine on the bus, excellent. There were 10 people on our tour and everyone had a great time and really got along! My husband hated being the first 2 to be dropped off at the end of the day. Worth every penny and more. We will do this again soon... thanks for a memorable day!

We had a group of 9 people on 2/11 and our group had a wonderful time! Dave was a great tour guide and chose really special wineries. We visited new wineries and that can be a challenge when dealing with a somewhat local group. Lunch was good too! We all had a very nice day and are already talking about a return visit. We had a blast: Rod did an excellent job integrating our group’s requests with his own planned itinerary. My wife and I initially planned to hire a driver and a private car. We are so glad we changed our minds and went with Platypus Tours! Rod had a great handle on the valley and was very wine savvy. He fit well with our group’s personality and really helped to make the day. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and that we enjoyed ourselves. I have been to Napa Valley several times, but this was my wife’s first trip. The smaller boutique vineyards we visited were great and we received personal attention that we would have never gotten from the more commercial vineyards. I would, and have recommended this tour to everybody who asks about Napa Valley. We hope to tour with you again soon.

This was a great tour. Dave, our guide, was very informative and just a lot of fun. We wanted to visit wineries that were not the big commercial ones - this tour was perfect for that. We are already planning another trip with friends and family. We will use Platypus again. I would highly recommend them.
