All aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train!
Posted on July 16, 2012
While visiting our amazing wine country you might want to book a trip on the Napa Valley Wine Train for a relaxing three-hour, thirty-six mile round-trip journey from the historic town of Napa, through one of the world’s most well-known wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena, and back. You can see five towns along the way; Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, and St. Helena; and numerous wineries through the large picture windows on board.
Guests aboard the Wine Train enjoy a freshly prepared lunch or dinner inside a fully restored 1915-1917 Pullman Dining Car or 1952 Vista Dome car as you pass the vineyards and wineries of Napa Valley.
The Napa Valley Wine Train is one of the most unique restaurants that you will ever visit. Its chefs have practiced for years to be able to present a fabulous gourmet meal on a moving train. And the food is fresh and sustainable, so it’s environmentally sound and guarantees that you are getting best food at its peak ripeness, or in the case of meat and fish, at its freshest.
