While we personally like to think there is no wrong time to visit wine country and that every season is beautiful, there is an exception. An exception that no other season looks like one in particular, the mustard season. Only during January to March do the vineyards bloom into a blanket of yellow mustard flowers. This exciting period gives some breathtaking views with the rolling vineyards decorated in the beautiful flowers, getting us ready for Spring season and for the first leaves to start blooming on the vines. You will definitely want to snap some pictures of the incredible landscape.
“Run, sip, savor” is the motto for this year’s annual Napa Valley Marathon! What could be a better running or power walking motivation than a glass of delicious Napa wine at the finish line? Whether you’re an avid runner and ready for a full marathon, or looking to speed your way through the 5k, or maybe somewhere in the middle at the half marathon, there is an open spot for you! Register your place by February 28th and wake up Sunday March 1st ready to hit the pavement and run alongside the vineyards through some of the most beautiful views in Northern California.
With all that is happening the next three months it is a challenging decision which dates you won’t be visiting wine country. We assure you your time will be well spent and your wine glass full of great memories. Cheers everyone!
