Wine Pairing: Late harvest riesling or sparkling wine
Ingredients:
2 cups Sugar
3 Eggs
1 & 1/3 cup of Oil
1 & ½ cup Buttermilk
2 tsp Almond Extract
1 & ½ tsp Salt
1 & ½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ cup Lemon Juice
1 & ½ TBS Lemon Zest
2 TBS Poppy Seeds
3 cups Flour
Optional Garnish:
Lemon Zest
Instructions:
Cream together sugar and eggs.
Add all the other ingredients and mix together.
Oil and lightly flour a bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until a skewer comes out clean when you check it.
