It is hard to believe that the summer months are coming to an end as we quickly approach Labor Day weekend. While summer weather is still in full swing here in Napa, what better way to celebrate than a trip to wine country? The vines are in full bloom and utterly breathtaking as the wineries in Napa get ready for Harvest Season. With the valley in its peak time in summer, there are so many things to enjoy this upcoming holiday weekend.
As we mentioned the wineries in Napa are beginning, if they have not already done so, the Harvest Season. When the grapes are picked from the vineyards and begin the fermentation process to become our favorite beverage in a wine glass. What better way to kick off this season than at the annual “Blessing of the Grapes at Grgich Hills Estate”! This traditional event is over thirty years old at Grgich Hills and truly represents the exciting start to harvest. Everyone is welcome to join the event complimentary, so bring your friends and family. Sip on a glass of wine and experience the first day of the iconic grape stomp at Grgich.
