In what was once home to the Silverado Horseman’s Center with ambling riding trails and the area’s only indoor arena, has been transformed into an impressive winery with lovely garden areas owned by the Indelicato Family. Wines showcase the diversity of Napa Valley growing regions and varietals which include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Red Blends, and Cabernet Sauvignon among others. Friendly hosts invite guests for experiences ranging from casual walk-ins to privately hosted tastings and in-depth blind tasting seminars.
Boeschen Vineyards is a very small family-owned winery committed to making the best possible wines off their 11-acre estate vineyard. Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, a velvety Red Blend, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon are made in their state-of-the art facility. The underground winery, gorgeous estate gardens, and the owner’s vintage car collection create a personal tasting experience that is intimate and luxurious.
Beginning in 1998 when the property on Big Ranch Road in Napa was purchased, a vision was held that very special wines and memories could be created in this location. Since then over 20,000 vines of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon have been planted, tended, nurtured, harvested, crushed and coaxed into fine wine.
The vineyard is located in the Oak Knoll District of the Napa Valley which is known for its slightly cooler climate and heavy clay soils. This environment produces ultra-premium Merlot and Syrah used in many of Napa Valley's most sought after wines.
Today, while still selling over 50% of their grapes to other premium wineries, they also produce very limited quantities of ultra-premium wine. These wines are produced using only the best materials and practices in search of creating wines that reflect a full bodied style that express the best attributes of the land.
