Dave Minor has persued his two passions - seeking out rare accoustic guitars and wines worthy of collecting. Dave commissioned a Master Luthier to craft a guitar for him that was stained a beautiful hue using Miner Cabernet Sauvignon, the first commission in a series made especially for Dave.
Neal family Vineyards is located up Howell Mountain off Deer Creek Rd. It is estate grown wines with a nice cave and grounds. Very family oriented. Varietals are Petit Syrah, Sav Blanc, Cab Sav, and Chardonnay.Two winery dogs meet you at the front door.
The Odette Estate was founded by three individual partners, Gordon Getty, Gavin Newsom, and John Conover, part of the PlumpJack Group which purchased it in 2012. Odette is located in the Stag’s Leap district just east of the Silverado Trail. The property has been renovated to display a chic and modern design in their hospitality center and is one of only a few wineries to boast a living green roof planted to grasses and plants as well as solar panels. They are known for their red wines, they boast 18,000 feet of caves, and a beautiful lounge which encompasses their stellar views. This is a winery not to be missed!
The Peju family started their winery over 30 years ago and the second generation, daughters Lisa and Ariana, are taking over the mantle. Food and wine pairing adventures as integral to their philosophy.
