Beau Vigne has a great philosophy to winemaking that hasn’t changed since we began. Although we fly under the radar as a small boutique winery, we do so with impressive stature and enjoy our “hidden gem” status. We are world renown and recognized by wine critics as a winery that produces exceptional, intense, balanced, rich and multidimensional wines. Beau Vigne is home to family and extraordinary wines, where “great Cabernets are grown, not made.”
Our family’s roots run deep in the Napa Valley. Martin Garzoli, Ed’s grandfather, arrived in the Valley in 1913. He was a Swiss Italian who, in Italy, was trained in winemaking. Martin would work the Hayfields of Napa and Sonoma during the day and make wine in an old barn at night. Nearly 100 years later the Beau Vigne Family is still making wine.
After working for decades on Cabernet Sauvignon viticulture research, in 1998 winemaker Anthony Bell found the perfect place to produce the wines he had long dreamed of – limited production, hand crafted wines that showcase clonal variations and single vineyard expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon. A unique tasting experience gives even the most discerning wine enthusiasts a deeper appreciation for Cabernet Sauvignon and the craft of grape growing.
From what started with a handful of barrels made from a dear friend’s vineyard in 1987, Elyse Winery has been the waypoint for countless wine lovers to experience California wines and fall in love with wines and vineyards of all regions and acclaim.

Girard Winery began in 1975 as a dream of a father-son duo. The two shared a passion for high quality wines, a respect for the Valley’s rich history and a pioneering spirit. 25 years later, another vintner with the same passion for winemaking and roots deep in the Napa Valley is continuing the Girard legacy.
