Hall Rutherford was founded as a sister winery to Hall St. Helena, and given as a gift to Katheryn Hall by her husband Craig in 2014. A separate location from Hall St. Helena, Hall Rutherford is located towards the end of a private road off the main road that leads to the well-known Auberge du Soleil Hotel in the Rutherford Hills. This winery is known for their high-end reserve and estate single vineyard wines that are produced in limited quantities. The views from this location are phenomenal and will surely capture your attention along with the wines. There are outdoor terraces showing the views, the tank room provides an educational experience, and the 14,000 square foot cave provides history. Hamel Family Wines was founded in 2006 when George and Pamela Hamel bought this property in Kenwood that happened to come with an acre of vines. Eventually they bought another six acres which included more vines with the intent to get into the winemaking business. Located at the intersection of Madrone Road and Hwy 12 in Kenwood just outside Boyes Hot Springs near Sonoma, this winery is set back behind private gates with a long driveway leading to the main building of the winery where incredible views, massive windows and a modern terrace beckon you to explore the land. On a cool day they provide blankets to wrap around your legs as you watch the sunset and look down at their beautiful vineyards on the hillside. Serene and quiet you will relish in their cabernet sauvignon, Bordeaux varietal blends, zinfandel, Grenache, sauvignon blanc, and late harvest sauvignon blanc wines. Located on a hillside in the foothills of Napa’s eastern Vaca Range, HUNNICUTT features an 18,000-foot network of caves cut into the volcanic tuff. The wines are made by Justin’s good friend and noted winemaker Kirk Venge, and are sourced from distinctive Napa Valley and Sonoma County estate vineyards.
