The Antinori’s are one of the world’s oldest family wine business’ originating from Italy and founded Antica in 1993, releasing its first wines in 2007. Located at the base of Atlas Peak and the Eastern hills of Napa Valley, Antica will provide lovely views of the surrounding Napa Valley and vineyards beyond. The Antinori family entertains your taste buds with an Old World/New World experience based on their history and knowledge from their own well-known vineyards in Italy. Our family’s roots run deep in the Napa Valley. Martin Garzoli, Ed’s grandfather, arrived in the Valley in 1913. He was a Swiss Italian who, in Italy, was trained in winemaking. Martin would work the Hayfields of Napa and Sonoma during the day and make wine in an old barn at night. Nearly 100 years later the Beau Vigne Family is still making wine.
A unique winery housed entirely in a cave, this is home to four distinct family owned wineries. The acclaimed wineries ar Waugh Family Wines, Patland Estate Vineyards, Buoncristiani Family Winery and Lobo - Wulff Vineyard.
This historic property was one of Napa Valleys first wineries dating back to 1885, and is where our barrel tasting experience and cave aging practice was born. These cave-aged wines proved to be more voluptuous and opulent than those aged in modern facilities, and so the Del Dotto family continues to age wines in these historic caves to this day.
Since 1992, our family has produced handcrafted, world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from our Elan Vineyards winery estate located in the renowned Atlas Peak Appellation of the Napa Valley.
Our wines mirror the distinct character of our mountain vineyards. We believe they represent the perfect balance between traditional winemaking practices and superb mountain grown fruit. They are remarkably balanced, elegant and long on their finish.
