The Jacuzzi trek to America started in 1907, when Valeriano and Francesco Jacuzzi, the second- and third-born sons of Giovanni and Teresa Jacuzzi, immigrated to Washington to work on the railroad. Owned since the 1980's by the MacDonnell family, the 468 acre estate is sustainably farmed with vineyards, olive trees and culinary gardens. Estate vineyards give the winemaker complete control over all aspects of the winemaking process, as evidenced by the spectacular wines produced here.
A visit to The Terraces can include a tour of the ranch on one of the "mules", a 4-wheeler that stops at the ghost winery build in 1885 and the "acetaia" where you can barrel taste 17 year old balsamic vinegar.
