Beginning in 1998 when the property on Big Ranch Road in Napa was purchased, a vision was held that very special wines and memories could be created in this location. Since then over 20,000 vines of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon have been planted, tended, nurtured, harvested, crushed and coaxed into fine wine.
The vineyard is located in the Oak Knoll District of the Napa Valley which is known for its slightly cooler climate and heavy clay soils. This environment produces ultra-premium Merlot and Syrah used in many of Napa Valley's most sought after wines.
Today, while still selling over 50% of their grapes to other premium wineries, they also produce very limited quantities of ultra-premium wine. These wines are produced using only the best materials and practices in search of creating wines that reflect a full bodied style that express the best attributes of the land.

Bravante Vineyards is a Napa Valley boutique producer of handcrafted, very limited production Bordeaux varietal wines that receive high accolades from prestigious professional critics. Located in the renowned Howell Mountain AVA, with a more than one hundred years reputation for making world-class wines. Located on a 150 acre estate vineyard, the wines produced are supple and expressive. The farmhouse welcomes guests to visit the historical wine cave.
This property sits along the Silverado Trail corridor into beautiful Calistoga at the foot of the Palisade Mountains. With a clean slate of 2.25 acres to build their dream, the parcel was purchased and Brian and Arden set in to make that dream a reality. Four years later, in 2014, the winery was ready for its first harvest in the new building with state-of-the-art equipment. In May of 2015 the hospitality center was opened and the pouring began with the opening of a 2008 Cabernet Franc.
With a small team of highly educated wine lovers, three dogs and two winemakers on hand, Brian Arden Winery runs as small family business producing less than 2500 cases a year.
