Napa and Sonoma Wine Tasting Regions
Located north of San Francisco, California, our Northern California Wine Country features hundreds of amazing wineries located primarily in the Napa Valley, (including Napa, Oakvillie, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga and Carneros) the Sonoma Valley, (Including Sonoma, Glen Ellen and Kenwood), and North Sonoma County, (including Russian River, Healdsburg, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley and West Side).
These areas offer extraordinary climate and soils for producing world-class wines. Each of these regions is in itself an extremely popular destination for wine tasting. The natural beauty of our local wine country, with rolling landscapes, beautiful vineyards and rugged hills, provides a spectacular setting for visiting local wineries, tasting fantastic wines and enjoying many fine dining restaurants.
The wineries in these lists are visited by both our Join-In and Private Tours. While these are comprehensive groupings of some of the wineries we’re able to visit (and recommend), they don’t necessarily represent a complete list of them – there are numerous other wineries in the North Bay.
